Applicant Submission Guidelines
Here is what to expect as you prepare your National Committee volunteer application. Choose your application path based on your preferred National Committee role.
PATH 1: FY27 NATIONAL COMMITTEE CHAIR-ELECT
Apply to be a FY27 Chair-Elect for any ASID National Committee.
- Applicant, Background & Previous Leadership Experience: Submit information on your background, including any previous leadership experience.
- Leadership Statement & National Committee Selection: Provide a leadership statement sharing why you want to serve in a leadership position. Next, select your National Committee of interest and complete your statement sharing how your skills and experience will support the National Committee. If you are a current National Committee member, you may apply for a leadership role on your current National Committee or a different one.
- Volunteer Agreement: Agree to the terms and conditions regarding volunteer service, compliance with ASID’s Code of Ethics, and required volunteer forms (Commitment and Code of Conduct, Confidentiality and Intellectual Property, and Conflict of Interest).
PATH 2: FY27 NEW NATIONAL COMMITTEE MEMBER
Apply to be a National Committee member for a 3-year term beginning October 1, 2026.
- Applicant, Background & Previous Leadership Experience: Submit information on your background, including any previous leadership experience.
- National Committee Selection(s): Provide a statement of interest on why you wish to volunteer on an ASID National Committee. Select your National Committee first choice and complete your statement sharing how your skills and experience will support the National Committee. If you are a current National Committee member, you may apply to serve on a different National Committee, if you choose.
- Volunteer Agreement: Agree to the same terms and conditions regarding volunteer service, compliance with ASID’s Code of Ethics, and required volunteer forms (Commitment and Code of Conduct, Confidentiality and Intellectual Property, and Conflict of Interest).
