Application Information

Here is what to expect from the application.

Applicant, Background & Previous Leadership Experience: Submit information on your background, including any previous leadership experience.
Committee Selections, Applicant Skills & Statement of Interest: You may select up to 3 committees of interest; note, however, that you can only serve on 1 committee. If you are a current ASID Committee volunteer, you may apply to your current committee or select a new committee for FY25. Share your skill set for a given committee. Provide a statement of interest on how you will contribute to a committee if selected.
Committee Leadership Interest: You may apply to serve as a Committee Chair or Chair-Elect for FY25.
Volunteer Agreement: Agree to the same terms and conditions regarding volunteer service, compliance with ASID’s Code of Ethics, conflict of interest, ownership of intellectual property, and operations.  
Opportunity to Self-Identify: Optional questions to self-identify for record keeping and reporting. The information provided will not be used in the evaluation process or provided to the application jury.

Eligibility

Any individual ASID member in good standing may apply to be a committee volunteer.

If selected for a committee, ASID membership must be maintained during term.
All ASID members may apply including Professional, Allied, and Associate Practitioners, Educators, Students, and Affiliate Members.  
Any member who receives member benefits through a partnership including Industry, Firm, Higher Education, and Affiliate Partners may apply.
Individuals that are not current ASID members may apply. If selected for a committee, the volunteer must become an ASID member within 30 days of being selected (by June 21, 2024).
